Sideload Regram (no jailbreak)
Install Regram on any recent iOS — with its own notifications on a push-enabled certificate, or next to the App Store Instagram with a free Apple ID.
Updated
You'll need
- A signing certificate with push notifications — or a Mac or Windows PC for free AltStore
- Instagram from the App Store — only with AltStore
What works afterwards
- Notifications
- Only with a push certificate
- Keeps working
- 7 days to 1 year, by tool
- Computer needed
- Not with a signing service
- Cost
- Free to $99 a year, by tool
Which Regram build you install depends on how it's signed:
- A certificate with push notifications and App Groups — your own developer account, or one you've bought: install the regular Regram build. It keeps Instagram's original and gets notifications itself.
- A free Apple ID (AltStore), or a certificate without push: install Regram (Duplicate) as a next to the App Store Instagram. A free signature can't carry push notifications, so Instagram stays installed to deliver them.
Note
Notifications in Regram need all three: the regular build, push notifications and App Groups. The details are in getting notifications with Regram.
Install Regram
Pick how you'll sign it. Each way has its own download — take the Recommended one.
Paid, no computer. A signing certificate keeps apps working for about a year, and with push notifications and App Groups, Regram gets its own notifications.
- Get a signing certificate. Flekstore is one of the more reliable services. Check it includes push notifications and App Groups.
- In your signing app — Flekstore, Feather, ESign, GBox or similar — add our source:

$99 a year from Apple, and the most work. You sign the app yourself, it lasts a year, nobody else can revoke it, and Regram gets its own notifications.
- Create your certificate and provisioning profile with create a distribution certificate — it sets up push notifications and App Groups too. You'll need a Mac.
- In a signing app like Feather, ESign or GBox, add our source
https://source.fouadraheb.comand pick Regram — or download the Recommended file below. - Sign it with your certificate and profile, and install it.
Free. Needs a Mac or Windows PC. The app keeps working for 7 days at a time; AltStore refreshes it automatically while your iPhone and computer are on the same Wi-Fi.
A free Apple ID can't carry push notifications, so here you install Regram (Duplicate) next to the App Store Instagram, which keeps delivering them.
Let your iPhone open it
On iOS 16 and newer, your iPhone won't open a sideloaded app until is on.
Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode. The option only appears once a sideloaded app is installed.
Turn it on. Your iPhone restarts.
After the restart, confirm the prompt.
If Regram says Untrusted Developer when you open it, go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, tap the profile under Developer App and tap Trust.
